Similar to our Beaumaris driveway gates, our Caernarfon wooden driveway gates combine an elegant 'serpentine' style head with an open vision panel below. The Caernarfon pair shown right is the fully boarded, high centre driveway pair in Scandinavian Redwood (Softwood).Our Caernarfon gates feature a curved head which rises 6" (150mm) from the lower point (other rises can also be accomodated, please contact us). If you prefer then the Caernarfon can also be manufactured with the curve dropping to the centre (low centre, shown below left in Meranti, hardwood).

Each and every gate is made to measure by time served craftsmen, and are available in smooth planed European Oak, Meranti and Idigbo (Hardwoods) and Scandinavian Redwood (Softwood). Timber samples (opens in new window).
As we only manufacture the Caernarfon gates as pair of driveway gates, for a single pedestrian gate try either our Arched headed gate, Curved headed gate or St Asaph gate (for the St Asaph we would recommend having the height of the head of the gate to match either the lowest or highest point of the Caernarfon gates)

All sizes referred to as EX are sawn sizes, once planed the timber will generally finish at approx 1/4" (5mm) less,
i.e. EX 3" (75mm) would generally finish at approx 2 3/4" (70mm).
