Close boarded gates or open boarded gates?
The majority of our wooden gates pictured in our driveway gates and pedestrian gates sections of our website are shown as fully boarded gates, however open boarded versions of all our gates are also available. Below are two examples of fully (close) boarded gates and below these are the same style of gates but in an open boarded version.

Open boarded versions of the same gates
Below are the same gate styles, but in the open boarded versions. The open boarded versions of our gates are made in exactly the same way as our close boarded gates, the only differences being what you can see between the two sets of pictures. An open boarded gate can be ideal when you don't need the privacy that the close boarded gates give you and in very windy locations as they can help to let the wind through to a certain extent.
