Lockable dropbolts
The lockable dropbolt does exactly the same job as a standard dropbolt but with one advantage….
For added security, as it’s name implies the lockable drop-bolt can be locked meaning your timber gates can be secured in both the open and closed position.
When the dropbolt is in the dropped position, a padlock can be added (not supplied). with the lockable dropbolt you can lock your gate in the closed position – this will still allow pedestrian access in a pair of driveway gates (unless you’ve added a lockable drop bolt to both gates).
The lockable dropbolt is ideal if you’ve a caravan or trailer (or any vehicle for that matter!) which you want to keep secure on your driveway, but still want to allow pedestrian access.
