I eventually got the new doors stained and fitted after our glorious rainy weather eased up and let me get the job done.
If you want to put the attached pictures on your website then you have my permission to do so.
I stained the doors with Sikkens Rosewood HLS base coat and Cetol Filter 7 stain top coat. The windows are fitted with Polycarbonate Twinwall panels. As you will see from the pictures they make a massive difference to the look of the garage and will look even better once the garage outer walls are painted too. Every one of my close neighbours have commented on how good the doors look and have made positive comments to me on how easy and quickly they were fitted.

I am a Cabinet maker and can turn my hand to most skills working with wood, so I do know the difference between a good and bad job. I am pleased to see in the construction the use of wedged mortice and tenon joints, this is how I would have done the job, had I the time and a workshop big enough to construct them.
