A useful addition if you live in a windy location and the wind slams your gates and snaps your ring latches or suffolk latches!
Also a recommended addition if you use either D&D self closing hinges or a gate spring to close your gates.
If fitting to a gate over 1200mm (4ft) tall then two gate stops are recommended.
Manufactured from high-strength polymer materials, so corrision free.
IMPORTANT: Gate Stops should not be used on child safety gates, as toddlers may use them as footholds.

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
All orders received prior to 12pm on the day are despatched the same day using either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD for a fully tracked delivery.
If you are happy for the items to be left somewhere safe (i.e. either with a neighbour or somewhere secure on your property) then please do let us know in the ‘Customer notes’ section of our checkout page.
Once despatched your will receive an email and text (if we have a mobile telephone number for you) from DPD confirming that they have your parcel or Royal Mail with tracking details confirming that they have your parcel
For DPD deliveries, on the day of delivery you’ll again receive an email/text from DPD with an approx 2 hour time slot from DPD. If you are not able to be present to receive your parcel you can then rearrange delivery for an alternate day or get the parcel delivered to the nearest DPD pickup shop for you to collect at your convenience.
Please note that due to Brexit we are not currently shipping to Northern Ireland or Europe.

If an item is faulty or defective, you can return it for an exchange or full refund within 30 Days and we will pay for the return postage.
Buyers are responsible for return postage if an item is unwanted or you changed your mind.
A refund or exchange will be available if items are returned unused, intact, un-opened and in the original packaging within 30 Days for exchange or a refund.

We’re a small family run company, who come from a long line of carpenters and joiners, you could say it’s in our blood.
Based in Rhyl, on the beautiful North Wales coast we produce made to measure wooden gates, side hung wooden garage doors and general joinery items. We began making our own range of gates and garage doors back in 1989, but our business is based on decades of carpentry and joinery expertise that stretches back over three generations. Our work today is still based on the teaching, techniques and craftsmanship of our forefathers.

Gate Stop Ordered. Great quality product and fast, professional service
A Reliable Source. Thanks Gate Expectations for saving my day. I had already purchased the hinges and latch for my new gate and wished to complete the suite with matching DD Tech ironmongery. However this was extremely difficult as most online providers did not have the stock. Then I found Gate Expectations (great name) and without a bother you supplied my needs immediately and swiftly and without fuss. Thank you. My one downside is that the screws were supplied with the gate handle but not the stops. This is regrettable because its impossible to find equivalent black stainless steel screws any place else.
