Available as either a bolt on dropbolt or clamp on dropbolt, the metal gate dropbolts are both 22″/560mm long and each feature a heavy duty 20mm diameter dropbolt.

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
All orders received prior to 12pm on the day are despatched the same day using DPD for a fully tracked delivery.
If you are happy for the items to be left somewhere safe (i.e. either with a neighbour or somewhere secure on your property) then please do let us know in the ‘Customer notes’ section of our checkout page.
Once despatched your will receive an email and text (if we have a mobile telephone number for you) from DPD confirming that they have your parcel.
On the day of delivery you’ll again receive an email/text from DPD with an approx 1 hour time slot from DPD. If you are not able to be present to receive your parcel you can then rearrange delivery for an alternate day or get the parcel delivered to the nearest DPD pickup shop for you to collect at your convenience.

We’re a small family run company, who come from a long line of carpenters and joiners, you could say it’s in our blood.
Based in Rhyl, on the beautiful North Wales coast we produce made to measure wooden gates, side hung wooden garage doors and general joinery items. We began making our own range of gates and garage doors back in 1989, but our business is based on decades of carpentry and joinery expertise that stretches back over three generations. Our work today is still based on the teaching, techniques and craftsmanship of our forefathers.

Fabulous service from this company! I made the unfortunate mistake of “miss-reading” the dimensions of the product I ordered. When I unpacked the (promptly delivered) package I realized the mistake and contacted Gate Expectations. The return was efficiently organized and the refund was in my account within 48 hrs. I did however check out the quality of the product (gate drop bolts) before returning them and saw that the quality was excellent. A great company to deal with, and a top quality product.
Well made product which fitted the bill perfectly. Fixings of good quality and I am very pleased I made this purchase and I would buy from the company again without question.
