Five lever insurance mortice deadlock for wooden gates
We now offer Union Strongbolt five lever insurance mortice deadlocks for use on our wooden gates.
These locks have the advantage of being able to be locked or unlocked from either side of the gate unlike other gate locking systems such as a padbolt.
The lock itself is a British Standard (BS3621:2007) ‘Police Preferred‘ lock and is supplied with the visible parts of the lock brass in colour and comes with two keys.
Whether you are fitting a pair of gates or a single pedestrian gate, the deadlock can be added giving easy access through the gates for anyone with a key, but keeping anybody without a key out!
Fitting or ordering several gates? Want one key to open more than the one lock?
Then you’ll need a keyed alike lock, these are great if you have several gates, but don’t want the hassle of having a different key for each lock.
If you are ordering some timber gates from us and require some keyed alike deadlocks then please contact us as soon as possible – these are specially made to order by Union and usually can take a couple of weeks to arrive.
For a pair of driveway gates combine the deadlock with a lockable dropbolt for additional peace of mind.
