Description
A Padbolt in quite likely the simplest, most common and cost effective method of locking a gate, garage door or stable door.
The Brenton Padbolt more simply known as Padbolt fixes to the front or rear of the door/gates with screws and bolts, no chiselling or cutting out required – if you can use a drill then you’ll have no problems in fitting this. Can be fitted horizontally or vertically.
Can be used to bolt a gate shut by sliding the bolt closed and dropping the handle of the padbolt into the staple on the body of the padbolt. A padlock can be used to also stop the bolt from being opened, the padbolt fits through the staple and stops the padbolt from being operated, thereby locking the gate/door closed.
Can only really unlock/lock the padbolt from the side of the gate/door that it is fitted to (unless you fit it high enough on a gate to reach over to operate!), so not ideal if you need to lock or unlock the gate from either side but non the less a very economical method of securinig a gate or door.
Available in Black, Galvanised, Black on Galvanised or Stainless Steel finishes.
Both the Black on Galv and Stainless Steel padbolts are in a limited number of sizes – 6″/150mm and 8″ / 200mm for both options.
Fixings (screws & 100mm coachbolts) can be supplied as an optional extra for a standard installation of the black or galv padbolt, as can a padlock, all you need to do is fit it to your gates or doors!

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
All orders received prior to 12pm on the day are despatched the same day using DPD for a fully tracked delivery.
If you are happy for the items to be left somewhere safe (i.e. either with a neighbour or somewhere secure on your property) then please do let us know in the ‘Customer notes’ section of our checkout page.
Once despatched your will receive an email and text (if we have a mobile telephone number for you) from DPD confirming that they have your parcel.
On the day of delivery you’ll again receive an email/text from DPD with an approx 1 hour time slot from DPD. If you are not able to be present to receive your parcel you can then rearrange delivery for an alternate day or get the parcel delivered to the nearest DPD pickup shop for you to collect at your convenience.
Please note that due to Brexit we are not currently shipping to Northern Ireland or Europe.

Returns
All of our products are covered by a comprehensive 30 Day Returns Policy.
If an item is faulty or defective, you can return it for an exchange or full refund within 30 Days and we will pay for the return postage.
Buyers are responsible for return postage if an item is unwanted or you changed your mind.
A refund or exchange will be available if items are returned unused, intact, un-opened and in the original packaging within 30 Days for exchange or a refund.

We’re a small family run company, who come from a long line of carpenters and joiners, you could say it’s in our blood.
Based in Rhyl, on the beautiful North Wales coast we produce made to measure wooden gates, side hung wooden garage doors and general joinery items. We began making our own range of gates and garage doors back in 1989, but our business is based on decades of carpentry and joinery expertise that stretches back over three generations. Our work today is still based on the teaching, techniques and craftsmanship of our forefathers.
