Designed for strength, durability and reliable day-to-day operation, this heavy duty gate lock features a long throw stainless steel bolt for increased security on driveway, garden and access gates.

Lockable from the front with a key, the rear of the lock is unlockable using a spring latch (for the standard version of the long throw locks) or thumbturn (if choosing the Euro Profile version).

Available to suit gates upto 50mm thick or upto 70mm thick in both the standard long throw lock (with rounded barrel) and Euro Profile versions.

What size single locking long throw lock do I need?

To figure out which size lock you need you need to measure the thickness of your gate.

For gates upto 50mm thick then choose the 50mm lock option. For gates upto 70mm thick (and more than 50mm thick!) choose the 70mm lock option!

Why Choose a Single Locking Long Throw Gate Lock?

A single locking long throw gate lock provides a strong, reliable way to secure your gates or doors while keeping operation simple.

Being single locking, operation of the lock from the front is by way of a key, from the rear however operation of the lock is via a spring latch (for the standard rounded barrel lock) or by thumb turn for the Euro Profile lock.

The long throw bolt extends further into the receiving keep than standard gate latches, creating a deeper and more secure locking point for improved gate security.

Single locking versions are ideal where access is mainly required from one side, offering straightforward operation without unnecessary complexity. They’re a popular choice for driveway gates, side entrances, garage doors and garden access points where ease of use matter.

What is a Keyed Alike lock?

A keyed alike single locking long throw lock is where you have multiple locks, and the key from any lock will open all the locks. This is an ideal option if you either have multiple locks on the same door or gate (some people do, do this!) or have several doors or gates and don’t have to worry about whether you’ve the right key for the right lock.

As keyed alike locks, these are only available purchased in minimum quantities of 2 or more.

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).

All orders received prior to 12pm on the day are despatched the same day using either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD for a fully tracked delivery.

If you are happy for the items to be left somewhere safe (i.e. either with a neighbour or somewhere secure on your property) then please do let us know in the ‘Customer notes’ section of our checkout page.

Once despatched your will receive an email and text (if we have a mobile telephone number for you) from DPD confirming that they have your parcel or Royal Mail with tracking details confirming that they have your parcel

For DPD deliveries, on the day of delivery you’ll again receive an email/text from DPD with an approx 2 hour time slot from DPD. If you are not able to be present to receive your parcel you can then rearrange delivery for an alternate day or get the parcel delivered to the nearest DPD pickup shop for you to collect at your convenience.

Please note that due to Brexit we are not currently shipping to Northern Ireland or Europe.
