If you’ve ever tried to garage your vehicle on a windy day you run the risk of the doors slamming on you as you attempt to drive in, then garage door holders are a must!
Simply fit to the top of the doors and then the top of the frame/lintel. To operate, open the doors to 90 degrees and the doors will then lock in place enabling you to drive into your garage without the risk of the doors slamming shut on your car. To close the doors, simply pull the cord and push the doors closed – easy!
There are two versions of the garage door holders available: Narrow stile which are the most commonly used or a Wide lintel variety.
Garage Door Holders come with all fixings and fitting instructions and are supplied in pairs (enough for one pair of garage doors)
Please note that the garage door holders will not work on timber framed garages where you have an angled corner brace between the top of the door frame and vertical upright (side) of the door frame. In some cases these corner braces are decorative and can be removed but if in any doubt you would need to take professional advice.

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
All orders received prior to 12pm on the day are despatched the same day using either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD for a fully tracked delivery.
If you are happy for the items to be left somewhere safe (i.e. either with a neighbour or somewhere secure on your property) then please do let us know in the ‘Customer notes’ section of our checkout page.
Once despatched your will receive an email and text (if we have a mobile telephone number for you) from DPD confirming that they have your parcel or Royal Mail with tracking details confirming that they have your parcel
For DPD deliveries, on the day of delivery you’ll again receive an email/text from DPD with an approx 2 hour time slot from DPD. If you are not able to be present to receive your parcel you can then rearrange delivery for an alternate day or get the parcel delivered to the nearest DPD pickup shop for you to collect at your convenience.

If an item is faulty or defective, you can return it for an exchange or full refund within 30 Days and we will pay for the return postage.
Buyers are responsible for return postage if an item is unwanted or you changed your mind.
A refund or exchange will be available if items are returned unused, intact, un-opened and in the original packaging within 30 Days for exchange or a refund.

We’re a small family run company, who come from a long line of carpenters and joiners, you could say it’s in our blood.
Based in Rhyl, on the beautiful North Wales coast we produce made to measure wooden gates, side hung wooden garage doors and general joinery items. We began making our own range of gates and garage doors back in 1989, but our business is based on decades of carpentry and joinery expertise that stretches back over three generations. Our work today is still based on the teaching, techniques and craftsmanship of our forefathers.

Garage Door Stays. I ordered these as I have a couple of over-sized garage doors that I felt needed additional stability when open on windy days. The original intent was that these would compliment a couple of long-reach cabin hooks that have proved inadequate by themselves in the past.
Fitting was relatively straightforward. However the central pivot rivet needs to be recessed into the lintel, which wasn’t mentioned in the fitting instructions. However this is well within the capabilities of a competent woodworker and did not cause any issues.
Having fitted these, I have now found that the stays are more than adequate as hold-open devices by themselves, with no need for the additional cabin hooks.
Good quality. Don’t buy Timco, the market is being flooded by the cheep timco door holders. They are cheep crap. These ones are very good quality.
