Available in a hot spelter finish and marine grade stainless steel finish only, these differ from the standard drop bolt as they have an intergrated hasp on the handle.
When the dropbolt is in the closed position the hasp sits over a staple receiver giving you the option of adding a padlock (not supplied) to secure the gate closed.
Commonly requested from customers who have caravans or trailers on their driveways as adds another level of security and enables access through one gate whilst keeping the second gate securely locked.
Recommended for Oak and similar timbers with high levels of tannic acid, the Marine grade stainless steel version (Grade 316 / A4) is exceptionally corrision resistance and ideal for extreme weather enviroments.
Both the galv and stainless steel versions of the lockable drop bolts come complete with fixings.

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
All orders received prior to 12pm on the day are despatched the same day using either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD for a fully tracked delivery.
If you are happy for the items to be left somewhere safe (i.e. either with a neighbour or somewhere secure on your property) then please do let us know in the ‘Customer notes’ section of our checkout page.
Once despatched your will receive an email and text (if we have a mobile telephone number for you) from DPD confirming that they have your parcel or Royal Mail with tracking details confirming that they have your parcel
For DPD deliveries, on the day of delivery you’ll again receive an email/text from DPD with an approx 2 hour time slot from DPD. If you are not able to be present to receive your parcel you can then rearrange delivery for an alternate day or get the parcel delivered to the nearest DPD pickup shop for you to collect at your convenience.
Please note that due to Brexit we are not currently shipping to Northern Ireland or Europe.

If an item is faulty or defective, you can return it for an exchange or full refund within 30 Days and we will pay for the return postage.

A refund or exchange will be available if items are returned unused, intact, un-opened and in the original packaging within 30 Days for exchange or a refund.

We’re a small family run company, who come from a long line of carpenters and joiners, you could say it’s in our blood.
Based in Rhyl, on the beautiful North Wales coast we produce made to measure wooden gates, side hung wooden garage doors and general joinery items. We began making our own range of gates and garage doors back in 1989, but our business is based on decades of carpentry and joinery expertise that stretches back over three generations. Our work today is still based on the teaching, techniques and craftsmanship of our forefathers.

Solid Quality Bolt. The lockable drop bolt is easy to install and easy to use. It is made from good large gauge steel and is very well galvanised, so should last with no corrosion. The locking eye is a fairly large diameter, so can take a thick high security padlock. I would recommend this product.
