Designed for timber gates, this heavy-duty lock features key-operated locking from both sides for enhanced security. Available in Standard and Euro Profile versions, it’s ideal for driveway gates, side gates, garden gates and commercial applications.

Two versions of the lock are available – for gates/doors upto 50mm thick & gates/doors upto 70mm thick.

Keyed alike versions of the long throw locks are available, if you require several locks to operate with the same key.

Why Choose Double Locking Long Throw Gate Locks?

Unlike single locking versions, double locking gate locks require key operation from both sides of the gate, offering increased security and controlled access. This makes them particularly suitable for locations where unauthorised access from either direction needs to be restricted.

The long throw bolt extends deeper into the receiving keep than standard latch systems, creating a stronger and more secure fixing point for heavier gates and high-use installations.

What size double locking long throw locks do I need?

To figure out which size lock you need you need to measure the thickness of your gate.

For gates or doors upto 50mm thick then choose the 50mm lock option. For gates or doors upto 70mm thick (and thicker than 50mm!) choose the 70mm double locking option option

Keyed alike or not keyed alike long throw locks?

Keyed alike locks are are a great option is you have multiple gates or doors that you want to secure with the double locking long throw lock, and don’t want the hassle of several different keys. With a keyed alike lock, any of the keys provided will open any of the locks you have.

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).

All orders received prior to 12pm on the day are despatched the same day using either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD for a fully tracked delivery.

If you are happy for the items to be left somewhere safe (i.e. either with a neighbour or somewhere secure on your property) then please do let us know in the ‘Customer notes’ section of our checkout page.

Once despatched your will receive an email and text (if we have a mobile telephone number for you) from DPD confirming that they have your parcel or Royal Mail with tracking details confirming that they have your parcel

For DPD deliveries, on the day of delivery you’ll again receive an email/text from DPD with an approx 2 hour time slot from DPD. If you are not able to be present to receive your parcel you can then rearrange delivery for an alternate day or get the parcel delivered to the nearest DPD pickup shop for you to collect at your convenience.

Please note that due to Brexit we are not currently shipping to Northern Ireland or Europe.
